Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our services and procedures.

Pretrial supervision is a program that provides monitoring and support services to individuals who have been released from custody while awaiting trial. The goal is to ensure court appearance, maintain public safety, and connect clients with resources that can help address underlying needs.

Supervision may include regular check-ins, drug testing, electronic monitoring, and referrals to community services.

The frequency of check-ins depends on your supervision level, which is determined by a risk assessment and court orders. Check-ins may be:

  • High supervision: Weekly in-person meetings
  • Medium supervision: Bi-weekly in-person meetings
  • Low supervision: Monthly in-person meetings

Some check-ins may be conducted virtually through our mobile app or by phone. Your supervision officer will provide you with a specific schedule.

Missing a scheduled check-in or appointment without prior approval can result in a violation of your supervision conditions. If you know you will be unable to attend a scheduled appointment, contact your supervision officer as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling.

Repeated missed appointments may result in increased supervision requirements or a report to the court.

We offer several payment options for supervision fees:

  • Online through our secure payment portal
  • In-person at any of our office locations
  • By mail with a check or money order
  • Through our mobile app

If you are experiencing financial hardship, please speak with your supervision officer about potential fee waivers or payment plans.

Travel restrictions vary based on your supervision conditions and risk level. In general:

  • Travel within the county typically does not require approval
  • Travel outside the county but within the state usually requires prior notification
  • Travel outside the state requires written approval from your supervision officer and possibly the court

Submit travel requests at least 7 business days before your planned departure using the Travel Request Form available in the Forms section.
